| Pre-natal yoga offers us an opportunity to be an active participant in the birthing experience in an empowered way. We develop a sense of confidence and security with the most natural event in our lives, enabling us to make moment to moment decisions as necessary for our unique experience.
We learn invaluable breathing techniques that focus our inner strength, relax us and promote health and well being for us. This is shared with our unborn baby, as whatever we experienced is indeed passed onto our child.
All classes address all three trimesters of pregnancy as the baby grows, our bodies continue to adapt to the needs of the moment and likewise our postures or asanas,as they are called in Sanskrit, will also be modified to acommodate the trimester. | |
